A London Christmas 2007: Fish & Fowl
Where once the turkey ruled the roost, now the English are getting more adventurous about their Christmas dinners. Traditionalists are turning back to goose, which ruled our yuletide feasts long before the American upstart gobbled its way into our affections, while the more adventurous are opting for sea bass, beef fillet, legs of lamb, or game. In any case, the trick to a good roast is not spending hours on stuffings and sides, or even getting the cooking time perfect: all you need to do is buy your supplies from someone who knows what they're doing.
