Where once the turkey ruled the roost, now the English are getting more adventurous about their Christmas dinners. Traditionalists are turning back to goose, which ruled our yuletide feasts long before the American upstart gobbled its way into our affections, while the more adventurous are opting for sea bass, beef fillet, legs of lamb, or game.
