  The Cast CourtsCome and meet the awesome 18ft Michelangelo's David! The Cast Courts are two of the most spectacular galleries in the Museum but did you know that they do not contain what is regarded as 'real' objects but are devoted to 'reproductions'! Most of the Cast Courts are plaster cast and the collection was assembled for the benefit of art students who at the time were seldom able to travel abroad.
