One of London's newest attractions takes on a suitably scary twist this Halloween as Up At The O2 cranks up the fear factor for brave thrill-seekers. As with the regular climb over the grand O2 Arena, participants begin at 'Base Camp', which has been given an appropriately spooky renovation for the Halloween season. Along the climb, you can expect a few surprises - tricks, treats, scares and shocks - before you're given a Gothic-style map at the summit, pinpointing some of London's horror hotspots. The climbs are available from 10am to 10pm - scaling the O2 at any time is always going to be a thrill but a night-time climb will be particularly atmospheric. Children must be 10 years or above and at least 1.2 metres tall.

The world's largest street game returns to London.
Secret Location, , London, XX1 0LL
Dates: 17th October - 02nd November 2013
Four years after the original 2.8 Hours Later outbreak, the world's most terrifying and largest street game returns to London. With the aim of reaching the safe haven of the Asylum, a survivor's camp with copious booze and dancing, players must successfully navigate through a world of government corruption, quarantine, borders and murder, all while avoiding being infected by the zombies. Starting at a secret border, players are issued with a map and an address of the first location to reach. Once/if successful, they must then continue to use cryptic clues to hunt down check points until finally reaching the safe haven - think of it as a cross between 28 Weeks Later and ClueQuest. Upon reaching the Asylum, players will be scanned for infection and, if contaminated, whisked off to be transformed into one of the living dead. However, even zombies are invited to party the night away. The event then descends into an evening of booze, DJs and deadly dance offs.
