The Birthday Party
The Old Vic celebrates its bicentenary in 2018, the Royal Academy of Arts is 250 years old, Shakespeare's Globe gets a new Artistic Director and nine new musicals - including Tina Turner, Chess and Strictly Ballroom - come to the West End. Must see exhibitions include Picasso at Tate Modern, Frida Kahlo at the V&A and Michael Jackson at the National Portrait Gallery. It's all in London in 2018.
