Held from 29th August until 9th September, the London 2012 Paralympic Games welcomes 4,200 Paralympic athletes from 166 nations to take part in 20 different sports and a total of 503 Paralympic events at 15 different venues (see London Paralympics Map). Seven venues in the Olympic Park in East London, five central London venues and three venues outside London.
