The London Bicycle Tours

The Royal West London Tour will take you along the Thames, through Westminster, past Buckingham Palace and into Hyde Park. The East London Tour takes you past the Globe Theatre, the Tower of London and out to the Jack the Ripper haunts in the East End. Bikes and helmets are provided and you can choose from mountain bikes and more traditional models. With experienced, knowledgeable guides it really is an energetic and fun way to get to know this vast city. Both tours are nine miles in length, so you might even burn some calories too.

For the more adventurous, the London Bicycle Company hires out bikes either by the hour or by the day. Based just in Gabriel's Wharf, once you've picked up your bike you can be cruising independently on the Southbank in minutes.
