Kipling Suite: Rocco Forte Brown's Hotel

In February 2016 Brown's Hotel revealed the result of a three month renovation, led by Olga Polizzi, of its four-bedroom Kipling Suite where a merging of the original suite with the Albemarle Suite has created the largest accommodation space for guests at the five star Mayfair hotel. Named in celebration of the English author of The Jungle Book, the room's decoration includes a framed hand-written letter from Rudyard Kipling himself, penned and sent during one of his many stays at Brown's. No expense has been spared on luxuries like a walk-in wardrobe with separate his and hers spaces, and a double shower in the luxurious 16 square metre en-suite bathroom, in stunning Arabescato white veined marble.
COST: £6,210 | ON A BUDGET: Like the jungle look? Try the Sanderson where rooms overlook an internal garden courtyard, just like an urban jungle.

The Opus Suite at the Berkeley

The Opus Suite at the Berkeley

The Opus Suite at The Berkeley is "making its mark as one of the most imposing hotel rooms in London" according to The Telegraph. Designed by internationally renowned interior architect Andre Fu (who also had a hand in the design of the Sky Pool at the Shangri-La at the Shard), it is one of the largest and most luxuriously designed hotel rooms in London. In fact, this space was previously five hotel rooms and a suite. Overlooking Hyde Park and Knightsbridge it occupies an expansive 260 square metres where sliding doors merge the living room, study, master bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and dining room.
COST: from £9,000 | ON A BUDGET: Try Andre Fu's favourite London restaurant, Wright Brothers in Borough Market, singled out for its location and "the way it encapsulates the quintessentially modern British spirit".
