There aren't many cooler places to celebrate the New Year than Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club, and this New Year's Eve they are once again hosting a black tie party. This year the entertainment will come from the legendary Georgie Fame and the Blue Fames, Ray Gelato's Giants, The Ronnie Scott's All Stars and a special guest vocalist. As well as the entertainment, guests will also be treated to a glass of champagne on arrival, a gourmet four course meal, coffee and truffles. Tickets range from £250 to £300. If that surpasses your budget you're in luck as, not content with just one New Year's Eve party, Ronnie Scott's is also hosting a cocktail party in the upstairs bar. With cocktails, canapés and live jazz from TJ Johnson and his five-piece band, the party is priced at a much more pocket friendly £40.

Fans of Daft Punk should head to The Jazz Café this New Year's Eve as Introducing LIVE will be recreating seminal album 'Discovery' live in its entirety. The band's original concept was to take a classic unplayable electronic album and recreate it as a live band, starting with DJ Shadow's seminal 'Entroducing'. Now audiences can see the band perform classic Daft Punk tracks such as 'One More Time', 'Aerodynamic' and 'Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger' live. Further entertainment on the night will come from The Correspondents, known for their hi-octane, genre-blending dance music. Tickets are £36 but there's also a VIP option, which includes a three-course meal and a glass of bubbly, or an after party ticket at just £12.

This year sees various comedy greats such as Jarred Christmas, Pete Johansson, Prince Abdi and Romesh Ranganathan, with Stephen Grant as the MC. Also making an appearance, and sure to poke fun at all the New Year enthusiasts lining up to watch fireworks on the night, is The Noise Next Door, the U.K's premier impro comedy troupe. After your sides have been suitably split, the comedians will make way for a DJ club night to bring you through to the next year. If this sounds like your cup of tea, standard prices are £59 in advance or £69 on the night, and premium front row balcony seats are also available for £75 (£85 on the night).
