Erdinger Oktoberfest

This autumn, German brewery Erdinger presents an authentic Oktoberfest experience in London, building a traditional Bavarian beer hall at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. With a capacity of 3,000 people, the hall will have over 220 bench tables set in a huge open-plan hall made from wooden floors and walls. The interior will be decorated with floral garlands and a traditional blue and white striped roof while the exterior will be purpose built to resemble a traditional 19th-century Bavarian beer hall. There will be live music and entertainment, a full-scale German fun fair, food stalls selling traditional Bavarian food and, most importantly of all, over 25,000 pints of premium Erdinger Weissbier (wheat beer) and smooth lager Fischers Hell shipped directly from the brewery in Bavaria. Over 40 expert Bavarian waitresses will also be flying over to serve the guests and train British staff how to carry up to 10 steins of beer at one time.

Perhaps London's most suitable location to celebrate Oktoberfest, the German Gymnasium is teaming up with Rothaus Brewery from the Black Forest to host their own festival party. With long wooden tables and benches out on the terrace, guests will be able to enjoy several beers on tap as well as a selection of traditional barreled beer supplied by Black Forest, which are naturally unpasteurised. Build up a thirst with a menu of German dishes, including a sausage trio - schinkenknacker, bratwurst and currywurst - mini pork knuckles and an Oktoberfest cold cut platter. Waiters and waitresses will be dressed in traditional lederhosen and dirndl while entertainment comes in the form of an oompah band.

October welcomes the return of Bierfest as London takes on the traditional German Oktoberfest with this major corporate event. Expect gherkins, bratwurst, Bavarian bands and unlimited steins of German beer. The beer swilling knees-up is based in Old Billingsgate Market and opens its doors to over 2,000 thirsty revellers every day. They are offering packages for ten person tables - the booking will include unlimited steins, platters of traditional German fare, full table service from Heidis, Helgas and Helmuts, and a programme of oompah bands and roaming acts.


London Oktoberfest

The capital's biggest Oktoberfest celebrates gets even bigger this year.

Already laying claim to the title of the capital's biggest Oktoberfest experience, London Oktoberfest is even bigger this year, running for 11 nights at Millwall Park and 14 nights at Finsbury Park. The venues will be transformed into a gigantic Oktoberfest party with huge tents, sing alongs and dancing on wooden benches, oompah music and bratwurst and German beer galore. Blue and white colours will decorate the tent and waitresses and waiters will be suitably dressed in Dirndl and Lederhosen. Entrance starts from £10 or you can opt for one of the Oktoberfest packages, which include a reserved seat, a 2 Mass of FestBeer, a German bratwurst with Bavarian potato salad and an Underberg shot on arrival.


Oktoberfest at Flat Iron Square

Four days of German themed fun with music, food and steins.

In 2018, Flat Iron Square celebrates the 185th annual Oktoberfest with a special four-day event. Four days of German themed fun will include German bands, street food, games, fancy Lederhosen and, of course, copious steins of beer. All venue's usual street food vendors will be in attendance along with some additional German specialists, who will be serving up their dishes for four nights only. Visitors are encouraged to join in with their best fancy dress and they can choose between a day or a night session.



The UK's first vegan Oktoberfest.

This autumn, Fest Camden is hosting Vegtoberfest, the UK's first vegan Oktoberfest. The Bavarian themed beer festival will see the merry traditions of Oktoberfest paired with vegan friendly Bavarian beers, wines and street food. Vegan bratwurst and sausages with all the usual trimmings with be served at the brat grill as well as a selection of vegan pizzas. Fest Camden's main room will be transformed into a Bavarian beer hall where guests can enjoy steins with a side serving of live music, comedy and classic oompah music from a live band.


Oktoberfest at Electric Ballroom

Camden's official Oktoberfest returns after two sell-out years.

After two sell out years, Oktoberfest returns to the Electric Ballroom for two nights of German themed fun. For two Saturdays in October the iconic music venue will be transformed into a traditional Bavarian beer hall complete with long wooden tables and bunting fit for a decadent bohemian schloss. Highly regarded beers will be flown over from Germany for the occasion, supplied by Spaten, Lowenbrau & Becks and served by waiters and waitresses dressed in Dirndl and Lederhosen. Herman ze German will serve a menu of grilled Black Forest sausage, currywurst and brotzel while ten-piece band The Old Dirty Brasstards and Club De Fromage DJs will provide the music.


Brixton Oktoberfest

This Oktoberfest celebration is billed as Bavaria meets Berlin in the heart of Brixton.

Promising the biggest craft beer selection south of the river, Brixton Oktoberfest is billed as Bavaria meets Berlin in the heart of Brixton. Taking over Brixton Jamm on Saturdays throughout October, it will have steins of beers and cocktails, street food with a Deutsche twist and music from oompah DJs. A Berlin-themed club room will offer an immersive techno experience and Bavarian games such as bier stein pong and pass ze parcel will provide further entertainment.
