The Official Camden Oktoberfest

After three sell out years, The Official Camden Oktoberfest returns to the Electric Ballroom in 2019 and this year it's expanding to four separate event dates. For one Saturday in September and three in October the iconic music venue will be transformed into a traditional Bavarian beer hall complete with long wooden tables and bunting fit for a decadent bohemian schloss. Highly regarded beers will be flown over from Germany for the occasion, supplied by Spaten, Lowenbrau and Becks and served by waiters and waitresses dressed in Dirndl and Lederhosen. Herman ze German will serve a menu of grilled Black Forest sausage, currywurst and brotzel while ten-piece band The Old Dirty Brasstards and Club De Fromage DJs will provide the music.

 
 
 

Oktoberfest at Pop Brixton

Pop Brixton will once again join in on the Oktoberfest celebrations this year, expanding to two beer-filled weekends. The site will be transformed into an open-air beer tent for the occasion with steins of traditional German beir from World of Wurst. Sip on a number of Munich brews from Erdinger, Loowenbraau, Spaten and more, and tuck into a new menu of currywurst, numeburger and rindwurst. Vegan bratwurst and vegetarian schnitzel will also be available.

 
 
 

Oktoberfest South London

On two Saturdays this autumn, Electric Brixton is transformed into an a Bavarian beer hall complete with steins of beer, Herman ze German wurst sausages and oompah music played live by the London Brass All Stars. A crowd of 2,800 partygoers, seated at long wooden tables, will be served by waitresses and waiters dressed in Dirndl and Lederhosen while the music plays and DJs from Sexy Kitchen Party keep the party going late into the night and between sets roving comedians come to the tables to add the festive atmosphere. Beers by Spaten, Lowenbrau and Becks have been flown in from Germany and Herman's Currywurst and Bratwurst, served with bread or paprika-spiced fries, comes straight from the Black Forest.

 
 
 

Doktoberfest

New for 2019, Doktoberfest transforms a former riverside warehouse into a Munich style Bierkeller. Half a million pounds has been lavished on this beer festival at a brand new venue called Dock X at London's Docklands. Over 100 traditional bench tables are set up to welcome as many as 1,500 people to the beer tavern, draped in a Bavarian blue and white with a live music stage, DJ booth and with circus performances from risque cabaret artists including German aerial gymnast Bath Boy. Over 20,000 people are expected to attend and over 70,000 pints of premium Erdinger Beer will be quaffed during the festival. As well as long bars serving beer, cocktails and champagne you'll find food stalls selling traditional Bavarian cuisine including the world-famous Bratwurst sausages. Entrance price includes with a free litre stein of beer or opt for the special VIP ticket and you'll get complimentary food and drink. Special events include Oktoberfest on 12th October a Halloween party on 31st October and a celebration of the Day of the Dead on 2nd November.

 
 
 

London Bierfest

October welcomes the return of Bierfest as London takes on the traditional German Oktoberfest with this major corporate event. Expect gherkins, bratwurst, Bavarian bands and unlimited steins of German beer. The beer swilling knees-up is based in Old Billingsgate Market and opens its doors to over 2,000 thirsty revellers every day. They are offering packages for ten person tables - the booking will include unlimited steins, platters of traditional German fare, full table service from Heidis, Helgas and Helmuts, and a programme of oompah bands and roaming acts.

 
 
 
 

London Oktoberfest

Already laying claim to the title of the capital's biggest Oktoberfest experience, London Oktoberfest is even bigger this year, running for eight nights at Millwall Park, two nights next to Moorgate Station and three nights at Olympia London for a Halloween special. The venues will be transformed into a gigantic Oktoberfest party with huge tents, sing alongs and dancing on wooden benches, oompah music and bratwurst and German beer galore. Blue and white colours will decorate the tent and waitresses and waiters will be suitably dressed in Dirndl and Lederhosen. Entrance starts from £10 or you can opt for one of the Oktoberfest packages, which includes admission, a guaranteed reserved seat in the Oktoberfest area, 2 x 1 Mass of Bavarian FestBeer, a Jaegermeister shot and a welcome Brezel Snack and a German Bratwurst with Bavarian potato salad.

 
 
 

Vegtoberfest

Following a successful launch last year, Vegtoberfest, the UK's first vegan Oktoberfest, returns to Fest Camden this October. The Bavarian themed beer festival will once again see the merry traditions of Oktoberfest paired with vegan friendly Bavarian beers, wines and street food. Vegan bratwurst and sausages with all the usual trimmings with be served at the brat grill as well as a selection of vegan pizzas and a vegan dirty burger courtesy of Rudy's Dirty Vegan Diner. Fest Camden's main room will be transformed into a Bavarian beer hall where guests can enjoy steins with a side serving of live music, comedy and classic oompah music from a live band while the event will also provide access to the Wonderfest Rooftop, offering views over Camden Stables Market. Groups can book one of the venue's Party Stables.

 
 
 

Vegan Oktoberfest

Proving that you don't need meat to to enjoy Oktoberfest, Greenwich Market will once again host its Vegan Oktoberfest in 2019. From vegan wurstl and knodel to a refreshing variety of vegan-friendly beers, it will have everything needed for a true Oktoberfest experience. Jim and Tonic, Cotswold Brew Co, What's Poppin' Corn and Let's Do Temaki are some of the trades on the line-up while live music from a local band will bring the party atmosphere.
