Bibendu
Modern European
The first of many conversions to get the Conran treatment, Bibendum occupies the former HQ of Michelin, the tyre manufacturers. A stunning 1911 building, colourfully and elegantly tiled throughout, it offers cuisine from escargot to foie gras and a tasty fish and chip option. Excellent service. Michelin House,

Modern Eclectic
A cheaper option than the restaurant at Harvey Nicks, the café is a more informal, yet stylish alternative offering superb views across Knightsbridge. Once you’ve worked up an appetite in the Food Hall you’ll be dying to tuck into the salads and pan-Asian cuisine. The ideal place to recuperate before another schlep around the store.

Italian
Jamie Oliver, or the Naked Chef to millions of viewers, has brought his witty cuisine to the refurbished restaurant in top Knightsbridge club Monte's. Mediterranean and home-grown British produce dominate the simple, but flavoursome menu. The public are invited to lunch in the wood-panelled elegance of the restaurant Monday to Saturday. Sadly, it's members only for dinner.

Pizza and Pasta
With all the hallmarks of Pizza Express (it was once a member of the chain) the food is reassuringly good value and fresh. The surroundings are large and chic, adopting the tried and tested wooden floors, tiled walls, potted palms and spotlights, which enhance the atmosphere when live jazz fills the place on a Sunday.

Italian
Italian food at its absolute best, which means it’s often difficult to get a table, but persevere. A fantastic range of new pastas using simple and tasty ingredients, such as ravioli stuffed with borage or veal. Desserts are equally mouth-watering – cheesecake, polenta or tiramisu. Service is slick.
