St Patrick's Day in London 2008
St Patrick's Day - Monday March 17th 2008

From the larger-than-life parade at the weekend, to the excesses of the party on the 17th March and the services at London's Catholic churches, the capital's St Patrick's Day celebrations increase in size and grandeur every year. It's a celebration of Ireland and the Irish in London, but these days it's just as much a party for all, with pubs and restaurants with only the vaguest Irish connections getting in on the act.
