Located in London's fashionable Belgravia district, The Halkin has been setting the standard for luxurious, modern hotels since its opening in 1991. There's a boutique, designer feel throughout helped by things like the Giorgio Armani staff uniforms, Egyptian cotton sheets, and COMO's own Shambhala amenities. The hotel also features Ametsa with Arzak Instruction, a one Michelin Star Basque restaurant. Each floor is designed around an elemental force - earth, air, fire and water. Tranquil, serene and very, very hip.

The team behind top Spanish restaurant, Arzak, brings their award-winning Basque cuisine to the Ametsa restaurant at the Halkin, a beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Belgravia. A team of five from the acclaimed restaurant in San Sebastian - which holds three Michelin stars and is often described as one of the best restaurants in the world - arrives in London to run Ametsa with Arzak Instruction. They include Juan Mari Arzak, Mikel Sorazu, Igor Zalakain and Elena Arzak, the fourth generation of the Arzak family to head up the restaurant since it opened in 1897, who was voted World's Best Female Chef by Restaurant magazine in 2012. The 'New Basque Cuisine' approach takes fresh, locally-sourced and organic produce and gives the traditional earthy flavours and techniques of Spain's Basque region a unique, modern interpretation.
