For the well-heeled, this small restaurant serving haute cuisine, is notoriously difficult to get a reservation for, but simmers with the enthusiasm and ‘crispness’ of the chef. Made infamous by a fly on the wall TV documentary, which displayed more of Gordon Ramsay’s volatile temperament than the food, it is still worth trying to get a reservation.

Mediterranean and home-grown British produce dominate the simple, but flavoursome menu. The public are invited to lunch in the wood-panelled elegance of the restaurant Monday to Saturday. Sadly, it's members only for dinner.

The gold ceilings dominate the venue and are more than complemented by the neo-classical paintings that embellish the marble walls.
