Black Cabs
First the good news - more of London's black cabs are now able to take wheelchairs and they have recently agreed to accept assistance dogs. (N.B. This does not apply to mini-cabs.) The new Jubilee line trains and train stations (between Westminster and Stratford) are accessible to wheel chair users and stations can be reached via lifts. You are advised to check the operation of lifts by calling 020 7308 2800 (office hours) or 020 7222 1234 (evenings and weekends). Across the network, there are also more loud speaker announcements on the station platforms and inside trains.
