A History Of Gardening In 100 Objects Curated By Alan TitchmarshWriter, TV personality and gardening expert Alan Titchmarsh has been asked to curate this new exhibition for 2014 at the Garden Museum in Kennington, which will explore the history of gardening through 100 objects taken from the museum's archive and other historic collection. The exhibitions promises to shed new light on the history of gardening and will feature many fascinating items at this museum in a converted church on the south side of Lambeth Bridge.

About Garden Museum

Adjacent to Lambeth Palace on the banks of the River Thames , the Garden Museum provides an insight into the history and development of gardens and gardening in the UK. From May 2017, following a major refurbishment, visitors to the museum can see the collection in The Ark Gallery, a building within a building which creates seven new galleries for the museum's collection - a recreation of the cabinet of curiosities put together by John Tradescants (father and son).
