A Midsummer Night's DreamAll-male Shakespeare company Propeller drops into the Rose Theatre Kingston on the London leg of its UK tour. Under director Edward Hall (also artistic director at Hampstead Theatre), Propeller has built up and enthusiastic following for its innovative stagings of Shakespearean classics, presenting them in a new light for modern audiences. In their award-winning production of A Midsummer Night's Dream, magic, mischief and mix-ups entangle the mortal and fairy kingdoms when unrequited lovers, sparring spouses and am-dram hopefuls lose themselves in the forest. The play forms a double bill with The Comedy of Errors with the two shows being performed on alternate nights.

About Rose Theatre Kingston

The Rose Theatre, Kingston is an 850 seat venue ideally suited to Shakespeare which opened in 2008 in the centre of Kingston Upon Thames. The design of the auditorium took its inspiration from the Rose Theatre, an Elizabethan structure situated on London's Bankside. More about Rose Theatre Kingston
