Anthony Neilson's latest play, Narrative, is to be created from scratch in the rehearsal room at the Royal Court Theatre to create a new play opening in the Jerwood Theatre Upstairs. The young cast, which includes two actresses familiar to us from TV appearances in 'Fresh Meat' actress Zawe Ashton, and 'Misfits' Imogen Doel, will work with Anthony Neilson who is known for his groundbreaking and imaginative work. Neilson's previous productions at the Royal Court include 'Get Santa!', 'The Wonderful World of Dissocia (winner of Best Production in both the TMA and Critics' Award for Theatre in Scotland), 'The Lying Kind' and 'The Censor'. His reasoning behind creating this drama: "Because I want to write from passion, not obligation. Because I want to write for the actors I've cast, not cast for the parts I've written. Because I want to surprise you".

In 1956 it staged John Osborne's Look Back in Anger - a landmark in modern British drama - and the Sloane Square theatre has continued to produce work of an equally high standard, with numerous productions making a successful transition to the West End.
