The Natural History Museum is throwing open its doors to the public for a unique, one-night-only exhibition. After Hours ? Science Uncovered is a behind the scenes look at cutting edge science as visitors are able to explore fascinating topics such as the detective work of the forensics teams and revolutionary new techniques for tracking meteorites. More than 300 scientists use the world class collections at the museum to research global problems such as disease and climate change and this is a unique opportunity to witness the goings on at the museum. Guided tours are on offer, such as the torch-lit tour of the Dinosaurs gallery that will leave children fascinated. Visitors also have the chance to quiz museum experts on their own mystery, natural history objects. After Hours ? Science Uncovered is part of European Researchers Nights and is the first time that London has taken part in the Europe-wide festival of science. Across Europe, over 100 cities will hold similar events showing how exciting and vital research is to our lives.About Natural History Museum
