Alfie BoeEnglish tenor Alfie Bow returns to the Royal Albert Hall as part of his biggest UK tour to date. Dubbed 'The Nation's Tenor', Blackpool-born Boe is now a household name after becoming one of the huge success stories of 2011: the breakthrough year saw him sell almost 700,000 copies of his hit albums 'Bring Him Home' and 'Alfie'. He also starred as Jean Valjean in the blockbuster West End run of Les Miserables as well as performing in Last Night of the Proms on the back of a 23-date UK tour. Last year Alfie hit new heights as the 39-year-old performed in the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Concert in front of a global audience of millions, singing 'Somewhere' from West Side Story on the balcony of Buckingham Palace with the American soprano Renee Fleming. With a book and a DVD out ahead of Christmas, the action is go for the king of classical crossover and operatic pop.

About Royal Albert Hall

Classical music, rock, pop and jazz, sporting events, galas, banquets and balls and the world-famous Proms series all take place within the Royal Albert Hall's iconic oval walls. One of London's most versatile venues, it is a favourite of performers from Jose Carreras to Kylie Minogue. More about Royal Albert Hall
