Take in London's famous watering holes while walking along the city's riverside path when you go on this guided tour, Along the Thames Pub Walk. The walk takes in London's last remaining galleried coaching inn, its oldest market, the finest art nouveau pub in England, Shakespeare's Globe Theatre and Tate Modern - on Fridays the tour goes inside for a quick look. This part of London is rich in Shakespeare, there's the recently discovered remains of Shakespeare's Globe Theatre (and its sister playhouse The Rose) as well as the thatch-roofed reproduction only a stone's throw away. You'll learn about Charles Dickens, lots of pub lore, as well as an 18th century pub that brews its own beer. Discover the church where Harvard University's founder was baptised, see the replica of Sir Francis Drake's Golden Hinde, and wind up in the pub - the perfect walking tour. Meet outside exit 1 of Mansion House Tube station, every Wednesday and Friday at 7pm, no booking necessary.Location map of Along The Thames Pub Walk
