Sling on those salopettes and re-create that Apline feeling with the Bavarian Beerhouse's special Apres Ski Party this spring. Organisers seem bent on bringing a bit of St Anton to EC1, with gluvine, fruit Schnaps, Jaegermeister shots and a variety of German beers (served in one-litre Stein glasses) all on offer. Spinning disks in a specially made ski hut, the DJs will transport you to the slopes with a selection of tranced-up Europop tunes of the kind that you only ever hear in camp après-ski bars in Germany and Austria. Guests are encouraged to show up in their snowboard and ski garb - so dig out those goggles and garish one-pieces and head to Old Street for this free party. Given the cold weather we've been having this winter, there's every possibility that their might actually even be some snow too! The gaggle of waitresses dressed in traditional skirt, bodice, blouse and apron help evoke some Bavarian charm in this popular theme bar.
