It might be little more than a road junction but Archway has its own market. Exit from Archway Tube station on a Saturday and you'll be stunned to discover a petite but perfectly lovely set of stalls doing a bustling trade in fruit and veg, colourful blooms and rustic cheeses. There's a smaller market on Thursdays when the food stalls take a break. This leaves lots of music - vinyl and CDs - as well as DVDs, silver and amber jewellery, funky clothes and boots plus a superb book stall. This charming market next to Archway Tube station brings some much needed colour to this rather bleak corner of north London. You'll find all this beside the Post Office on Junction Road - come out of the tube at the Junction Road exit and turn right.About Archway Market
