Arthur's Dream Boat: Long Nose PuppetsPolly Dunbar's delightful story of a boy and his dream boat is transferred from page to stage by the award-winning Long Nose Puppets - a theatre company set up by Dunbar and former college friend Katherine Morton. In this magical children's show, suitable for children as young as two, Arthur is trying to tell his distracted family about his amazing dream but noone is interested. Performed to a soundtrack by Tom Gray (of Gomez fame), a longtime collaborator with Dunbar, the production has a dreamlike quality but is rooted in reality. The author is also telling the story herself at the National Gallery as part of the Imaginary Worlds Family Festival, followed by a workshop with Polly and artist Marc Woodhead where you can make your own idea hat. You can also join Polly at 4pm on Sunday 17th February for a book signing in the Sainsbury Wing Conference Room Foyer.
