Artist Textiles: Picasso to WarholA survey of textiles as an art form in 20th century Europe and America, this Fashion and Textile Museum exhibition features work by influential artists from Matisse - whose lifelong fascination with textiles and its profound impact on his art - to Warhol. Over 200 examples are displayed, by artists including Braque, Barbara Hepworth, Miro, and Picasso, many of which have not been on public display before.

About Fashion and Textile Museum

The fashionista behind the Fashion and Textile Museum is Zandra Rhodes, the colourful designer who won the Designer of the Year award in 1972 and in 1974. Despite her flamboyant and out there designs she became a Royal Designer for Industry and was made Commander of the British Empire in 1997. More about Fashion and Textile Museum
