At the End of Everything Else (Over 8s)Two years ago, the multi-talented Mark Arends - who not only writes and directs but also acts, starring in Headlong's 1984 - won an off West End award for his 'Something Very Far Away' which premiered at the Unicorn theatre. In 2014 he presents At the End of Everything Else, a moving tale about a young girl, Icka and her best friend, a little yellow bird named Tito. Icka travels over land and sea to rescue her friend until she finds him tangled in the Great Pacific garbage patch along with hundreds of other sea birds. Performed with puppetry, animation, music and sound the play, suitable for children aged eight and above, uses the energy of the actors - who ride bikes to provide all the power for the production - to create something unique.
