Bank On It: Theatre-RitesThe world premiere of Bank On It uses a combination of actors, puppeteers and some unexpected characters to tell the topical story of money, inviting the audience to explore a bank's secrets. Performed and produced by the award-winning children's theatre company Theatre-Rites, this promenade show is inspired by a number of fairy tales and folk stories, and is the Barbican's first off-site theatre production of the summer. Bank On It is part of Beyond Barbican - an exciting programme of events taking place outside the walls of the famous arts centre that includes pop-ups, commissions and collaborations across east London.
