This year's Big Bonfire & Fireworks Show at Barnes Sports Club is on Saturday 6th November and sees a return of the popular Make-a-Guy competition. This year's winner will help light the bonfire and receive a gift voucher donated by local toy shop Les Petits. All entrants must be assembled in the street by the clubhouse at 6.30pm where the masked judge will choose the winner before leading all entrants in a torch-lit procession to the bonfire. Boys from St Paul's School will perform jazz before the fireworks display starts at 7.55pm. There will be hamburgers, hotdogs and other snacks and drinks on sale, as well as mulled wine, sparklers and light sticks. A big party with singing and dancing follows the display in the clubhouse to top off a great community event. For more information visit www.barnessportsclub.org.
