Oh la la! This summer, on 12th July, London will have its very own Bastille Day in Battersea Park for one of the largest Bastille Day celebrations outside of France. The free festival sees all sorts of French-themed goings on from an open-air picnic with gourmet food for sale to big-name DJs. Top chefs, cooking classes and samples from Relais & Chateaux are mixed in with French celebrities and playing petanque. You can take part in a tournament of the traditional French game and can watch the petanque players from under the Ricard umbrellas. Live music will be played on the main stage throughout the day but if you want to keep going into the night, head to the after party. Pacha regular David Guetta headlines the party hosted by London French Wednesday, who hold regular nights out in London held at a different location every two weeks.
