The annual feel-good fireworks display returns to Battersea Park on Saturday 5th November for another night of pyrotechnic pizzazz. The park's beautiful riverside setting hosts arguably the biggest and best display south of the river and this flagship event features a massive bonfire and monster fireworks set to music. Designed by Pains Fireworks - the people behind the annual Thames Festival display - it's a truly impressive light show including all the old favourites such as rockets, Catherine wheels and Roman candles. Warming food and drink stalls abound to get you in the Bonfire Night spirit and the kids will love all the glow-in-the-dark trinkets on sale. Crowds often reach 45,000, give or take a couple of thousand, so get there early and remember to wrap up warm! A large food court and bar will be open from 6pm to fulfil all of your food desires, including an international BBQ, noodle bar, Mexican, hot dogs and burgers, roasted chestnuts, toffee apples, candy floss, jacket potatoes, vegetarian feast and speciality sausage stall. LondonTown.com tip: If you don't want to pay and don't mind missing out on the accompanying music, this display can be seen from miles around and looks particularly lovely reflected in the water from the north side of the Thames in Chelsea.About Battersea Park
Situated on the south side of the Thames, facing Chelsea, Battersea Park caters for everyone within its 200-acre space. Firstly, there's lots of water - a lake for boating, ponds for admiring the wildlife, and the Thames along one side for general gazing purposes. More about Battersea Park
