Beauty and the BeastJean Cocteau's cinematic masterpiece 'La Belle et la Bete' is the inspiration for this tale of a beautiful young woman determined to rescue her father from the beast who imprisons him. Cocteau's interpretation of the children's story adds surreal overtones to this tale of love, loyalty and family ties.
