Big Fun Run: Victoria ParkRunners of all levels are invited to take part in the Big Fun Run at Victoria Park, a 5 km run aimed at raising money for a range of charities. The run starts and finishes at the disused running track at the south side of the park, with participants heading off through the scenic park in between. The run is part of a growing series of 24 Fun Runs across the UK, with another London-based run taking place earlier in September at Crystal Palace. Entry is ?12 for adults and ?6 for children, and while fundraising is optional, participants are encouraged to try and raise ?50 for a charity of their choice or for one of the Big Fun Run's partner charities. For more information go to www.gsi-events.com/events.php.
