Big Nature Day The Natural History Museum's Big Nature Day returns for 2013, this time in July. A huge choice of fun, family-friendly activities and displays await visitors as over 50 nature groups and museum experts guide you through the hidden value of nature for our wellbeing. Taking place in the Darwin Centre and the Wildlife Garden, activities include worm charming, a ladybird hunt, pond dipping and the opportunity to make a bug hotel. Further interactive activities include the chance to take part in scientific experiments, real specimens to examine and dressing up - dress up like a scientist and strike a pose in a super-sized display case. There will also be Nature Talks in the Museum's Attenborough Studio and the Sensational Butterflies exhibition will be open as usual. A great opportunity for kids to get a little closer to nature.
