Bloomsbury FestivalExpanding from five to ten days in 2019, the Bloomsbury Festival offers an eclectic programme of more than 200 artistic, scientific and literary events, immersive exhibitions and performances in unusual locations, most of which are free. Inspired by the 50th anniversary of Neil Armstrong's lunar landing, this year's festival takes the theme 'small steps and giant leaps' with events that celebrate endeavour, progress and pioneering achievements. It will pay particular attention to the radical imaginations, institutions and residents of contemporary Bloomsbury.
