Books About Town: Greenwich TrailOne of four Books About Town trails to explore this summer, the Greenwich Trail takes in The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Elmer the Elephant, and We're Going on a Bear Hunt in Greenwich Park. There are 12 painted benches shaped as open books to find, each a celebration of the capital's literary connections. In other parts of town you can follow the Bloomsbury, the City and the Riverside Trail which takes you along the South Bank from Potters Field Park to Waterloo.

About Greenwich

The London Borough of Greenwich lies on the south bank of the Thames. Rich in maritime history, Greenwich also has an outstanding architectural heritage. Many of its buildings are designed by well known English architects, including the Royal Naval College, the National Maritime Museum and the Royal Observatory built by Sir Christopher Wren for King Charles II.
