This free exhibition in The Julie and Robert Breckman Gallery of the V&A displays works by important artists from the last 400 years including Van Dyck, Gainsborough, Constable, Blake, Rossetti, Spencer, Freud and David Hockney. Through their sketches British Drawings: 1600 to the Present Day sheds light on the central role of drawing in portraiture, landscape, romanticism and minimalism.
