| We wouldn't normally advise you to go anywhere near 93 Feet East on a Friday night in summer - boozy suits from the City tend to come along and spoil the atmosphere. There are two reasons why we think this Friday might be different: firstly, it's an evening by the smart cookies who created Buttoned-Down Disco, which means a fun, anything-goes music policy, astutely chosen live bands, and a young, fashionable crowd who know their music, and know each other; secondly, you'll be absolutely dying for a fag by now, and if you're in the courtyard at 93 Feet East, you can combine it with some barbecued food and really kick your health into touch. The live bands this month are Gertrude's Storm, Newvolution, Diskoboy, and Soho Dolls, and Dollyrocker will be behind the decks. |
