Cheese and Wine FestivalNow into its fourth year, the Cheese and Wine Festival is an event dedicated to promoting high quality and ethical produce. Previous years have had plenty of highlights on display, including a cooking demonstration from stage host Valentina Harris and a wine tasting session with the BBC's Tim Atkin MW. Companies will be selling a variety of cheeses and wines from around the world and there will also be cheese making kits, cheese-cakes, accessories and more. Visitors can plan the event around lunch or dinner and enjoy some delicious hot savoury foods made with cheese or wine. The Cheese & Wine Festival is part of a series of specialist food events at Southbank Centre, including Chocolate Festivals and regular Real Food Festival Markets. Along with some of the best cheeses and wines from the United Kingdom, there will also be a unique opportunity to taste and buy an array of products from countries all over Europe. This is a must-attend event for all cheese and wine lovers and a great opportunity to learn more about this perfect combination.

About Southbank Centre

The Southbank Centre is a classic example of brutal 60s concrete architecture. Everyone has an opinion (usually negative) on its distinctive design - famous detractors include Prince Charles, who once described it as looking like a "nuclear power station". Yet, if the The West End is the centre of popular culture in London, it is the Southbank Centre that is the centre of true excellence in the arts. More about Southbank Centre
