Child's PlayChild's Play at the Foundling Museum brings together a series of powerful images by artist Mark Neville of children at play in diverse environments around the world. Taking place at a time when up to 13 million children have been displaced due to armed conflict, the exhibition comes as a reminder of our responsibility to ensure that all children across the world should have the opportunity to play safely. Photos of children in Scottish and English communities and the war zones of Afghanistan and Ukraine show beautiful moments of free, spontaneous play in the most unfavourable environments.

About The Foundling Museum

The Foundling Museum is one of London's real hidden treasures. Originally established in 1739 as a hospital which looked after abandoned children, the museum now tells their story. Using oral testimony, original artefacts and photographs, their history is explored and compared to the lives of contemporary children. More about The Foundling Museum
