Star of the critically acclaimed The Thick of It, stand-up Chris Addison is on the road and drops into the Bloomsbury Theatre for a series of performances of his sharp-witted and engaging comedy act, delivered in his trademark lecture-style fashion. Addison's routine is far cry from the bubbling, clueless antics of the baby-faced social affairs advisor he portrayed so brilliant in Armando Iannucci's BBC satirical comedy. In fact, the tall, lithe Addison is fast becoming a versatile comedian and actor on the circuit, with a burgeoning stand-up career adding to his BBC radio work and contribution as a panellist on the TV staples Have I Got News For You and Mock The Week. Last year, the 37-year-old from Manchester brought the house down during Live at the Apollo and he can currently be seen on the small screen as the rather creepy new no-nonsense college head in Channel 4's Skins.
Performances: 13th February, 14th March, 4th May
