To get the most out of outdoor cinema in West London, you'll want to check out Cinema Under The Stars in Syon Park, which provides one of the more romantic settings for watching movies outside. This year's programme takes place between Thursday 18 and Sunday 21 August and begins with the late Quentin Tarantino's classic Pulp Fiction. Other films screened during the four evening event include the epic The Shawshank Redemption, Academy Award-winning The Kings Speech and rom-com It's Complicated, with Alec Baldwin and Meryl Streep. Syon Park encompasses 30 acres of gardens and 200 acres of parkland attached to the Duke of Northumberland's London home, Syon House. The attractively landscaped park - designed by 'Capability' Brown in the mid 18th century - includes herbaceous beds, a large lake, a rose garden with 100 different varieties of old-fashioned rose and almost 200 species of tree.
