THIS EVENT ENDED ON THE 8TH FEBRUARY 2014
The Bush Theatre begins 2014 with the London premiere of Ciphers, a new play which sees writer Dawn King and director Blanche McIntyre renew their collaboration, following their work together on 'Foxfinder' - "In a wan year for new writing, Dawn King's play shines out like a beacon", wrote Michael Billington in The Guardian on reviewing it at Finborough in 2011. In Ciphers, a smart thriller about spies and double agents, a woman is found dead and her sister trys to find out what happened but stumbles into a world of secrets and subterfuge. Director Blanche McIntyre is a promising young talent who won best director at the 2013 TMA UK theatre awards for her modern take on The Seagull for Headlong.
