Circus Maximus at the Udderbelly Festival sees 20 of the UK's finest circus acts compete for a £4,000 prize. Dazzling audiences with mind-bending physical skill and unexpected hilarity, the UK's first circus competition will be split into four rounds. The heats will see the acts provide a concoction of crackling circus in attempt to win audience votes. Who goes through? The audience decides. The finals then invite the top five acts to perform a new show that they've created especially for the competition. Judged by a panel of expert judges, the most impressive performers will be crowned the winners and claim the mega cash prize.

About Southbank Centre

London's hub of cultural arts, The Southbank Centre announced in March 2013 that it's set for a £100 million revamp that will see the 1960s design finally move into the 21st century with a proposal that includes a floating glass pavilion, two more roof gardens, a space for riverside arts and a large pedestrian area.
