Camden's KOKO asks you to refresh your glass with something posh and welcome Reverend and the Makers for their Club NME NYE Ball. After the success of last year's NYE bash, the witty Sheffield indie rockers return to play hits from their two albums The State of Things and A French Kiss in the Chaos (which is what you might well get if you take a sprig of mistletoe with you on the night). Support comes from emerging Hammersmith hip hop star Example, either before or after he raps at the Ministry of Sound's live NYE party at The O2 Arena, and local favourites Ou Est Le Swimming Pool, an indie electro trio destined to take 2010 by storm. After all the live acts, you'll be able to find the key and dance the way you feel way into the early hours with DJ sets from regular Jeff Automatic and hot new gun Ed Wilder. With tickets just £35 you won't burn a hole in your pocket - but make sure you book in advance or you'll be crawling around Camden in a cab come midnight. Fancy dress not required but welcomed all the same.
