Concrete Dreams WeekendThe culmination of the Concrete Dreams exhibition, this special three day weekend showcases performances by artists who share a history with Southbank Centre. Every inch of the Queen Elizabeth Hall and Purcell Room will be filled with music, dance, workshops and talks celebrating the history of the 1960's buildings. Free events include a '60s Big Sing - a participatory workshop celebrating songs from Bowie to Pink Floyd - Rambert Dance hosting a family workshop and performances from Freddie Opoku-Addaie, Drake Music as well as dance company Corali. Other highlights are appearances from folk singer Sam Lee and Fifty Poems from Five Decades - with Simon Armitage and Caleb Femi among the ten poets taking part.

About Southbank Centre: Queen Elizabeth Hall

Queen Elizabeth Hall is the second largest concert hall at Southbank Centre, presenting a diverse programme that covers the whole range of music and performing arts. The Royal Festival Hall's smaller sister venue Queen Elizabeth Hall ensures that even when there is a long-running show, the Southbank Centre can have almost nightly performances by world-class orchestras.
