Constable: The Making of a Master The V&A showcases the work of British landscape artist John Constable in Constable: The Making of a Master. The exhibition will reveal the stories of how Constable created some of his most loved and best-known paintings, displaying great works such as The Haywain and a selection of oil sketches he painted outdoors direct from nature, which are considered unparalleled at capturing effects of light and atmosphere.
