Cost of LivingAdrian Lester stars in the UK premiere of Martyna Majok's Pulitzer Prize winning play, Cost of Living, staged by Edward Hall at Hampstead Theatre which celebrates its 60th birthday this year. The drama centres on four shattered lives as Adrian Lester makes his Hampstead Theatre debut in the role of truck driver Eddie, who is attempting to re-engage with his estranged wife following an accident. Katy Sullivan, who starred in the award-winning off-Broadway production, makes her UK stage debut reprising her role as Ani. They're joined by Emily Barber in the role of Jess and Jack Hunter in the role of John, a wealthy, brilliant, and successful PhD student with cerebral palsy.

About Hampstead Theatre

The Hampstead Theatre has existed in various forms since 1959, when it opened in a Scout Hall and its opening season in 1959 included two new plays by Harold Pinter, The Room and The Dumb Waiter. In 1962 the company moved to a portacabin in Swiss Cottage where it remained for nearly 40 years. More about Hampstead Theatre
