Cover Story: Radio Times At 90Charting the history of the BBC's Radio Times television and radio listings, Cover Story: Radio Times at 90 marks the publication's 90th anniversary. Taking place at Museum of London, the free exhibition uses original covers of the magazine, historic broadcasts and never-before-seen BBC archives to tell the story of British broadcasting and the development from the BBC's first radio transmission in London to today's generous multi-channel supply. Highlights of the event include a 1920s Marconi valve radio and a 50th anniversary display for Doctor Who, which has been a regular in the Radio Times since 1964. Recognising the regular appearances of the Time Lord on the magazine - Doctor Who has been the subject of more Radio Times covers than even the Queen - a life-sized Dalek will be set against a backdrop of Westminster Bridge to recreate the 2005 'Vote Dalek' Radio Times Cover, which was named the Cover of the Century by the Periodical Publishers Association.
