The brainchild of music obsessives Sean Rowley (Guilty Pleasures) and Christian Laing (Buttoned Down Disco), Cover To Cover comes to The Paradise to launch the Get Tested! campaign for the Hepatitis C Trust. The culmination of Get Tested! 2010 will be Pete Tong's International Music Summit in Ibiza after a series of wacky races from the UK to the luscious Balearic Island this summer. For this special launch party, an impressive range of top musical celebrities - including Boy George, David Mcalmont, Dot Allison and Sadie Frost - will perform covers of their favourite songs backed by a live band. Meanwhile, downstairs Cover To Cover residents Rowley and Laing will be joined by, amongst others, Ed Simons of The Chemical Brothers, playing their favourite cover records. The poster for the event sports a scantily clad South American-looking girl on a beach. If that wasn't an incentive enough, then the presence of Frost and Simons might well mean the likes of Kate Moss, Jamie Hince and Lily Allen might well drop by. In case you're wondering, the Get Tested! campaign encourages people to get tested for hepatitis C if they think they have been at risk. This year money is being raised for a bus to tour the UK testing people in hard to reach areas.About Paradise by Way of Kensal Green
