Following a hugely successful run at Open Air Theatre, Regent's Park, the critically acclaimed Crazy For You has made the transfer to the West End and is playing at the Novello Theatre. Packed full of heartwarmingly classic songs such as 'Someone To Watch Over Me', 'I Got Rhythm', 'Embraceable You' and 'Nice Work If You Can Get It', the original production of the play from 1992 scooped both the Tony and Olivier Awards for Best New Musical. The play tells the story of aspiring actor Bobby Child, who is sent to Nevada by his mother to close down the Gaiety Theatre. He quickly falls in love with Polly Baker but doesn't realise she is the theatre manager's daughter - putting him in the position of having to lose the girl if he closes the Theatre. Crazy For You is described by the Evening Standard as "full of youthful exuberance the show brims with a sassy joie de vivre". Director Timothy Sheader is reunited with the creative team from the multi-award winning production of Hello, Dolly! reunites, including choreographer Stephen Mear and designer Peter McKintosh, with Into the Woods musical supervisor Gareth Valentine.

An attractive columned exterior gives way to a gorgeous foyer and auditorium, with marble, polished brass and gold the dominant materials and gods and cupids sprawled across every available surface.
